Our Philosophy

Nestled in the heart of the Marne Valley, the Taillet house marketed its first bottles in 1961. Today managed by Éric TAILLET, the 4th generation, it asserts itself more than ever in its philosophy of working the vines with respect for the environment and in harmony with nature.

From now on, for Éric Taillet, creator of emotions in Champagne, a single priority  : exceptional harvests for an exceptional champagne. A perfectionist, who wishes to preserve in each of his champagnes, a typicity  and a style that can be recognized by  the first sip.

Le Meunier combines the essential characteristics of a champagne: suppleness, fruitiness, elegance and unparalleled finesse "

INNOVATIONS

Aging on lees: The berries are aged on their own lees which optimizes the quality and stability of the wines. This process creates a micro reduction which will counter the oxidation to which Meunier is particularly sensitive. By reducing the oxidation the amount of added sulphites is reduced.

Maison Taillet uses  system  mechanical pressing of which the model is registered.
